Our Mission

At Iridescence Cares, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity, we believe that no matter the species, all animals deserve to be treated with respect and empathy. Our mission is to provide support and education that promote compassionate care throughout our community, with a special focus on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts for community cats.

Founded from the compassionate roots of Iridescence Salon & Spa, our nonprofit is dedicated to advocating for humane solutions that improve the lives of animals and the people who care for them. A key focus of our work is Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), an essential method for controlling and improving the lives of community cats. We provide guidance, lend traps, and personally assist in every step of the process to ensure the safety and wellbeing of these animals.

What began as a local effort by our founders, Rebecca and Andrew, who have together rescued, fostered, and helped find homes for over 40 animals since 2012, has grown into a mission to create a kinder, more compassionate community for every creature. With over 20 years of marriage, every endeavor they take is a true partnership. Together they guide the nonprofit, assist community cat caregivers, and share their dedication, patience, and love for every animal. Their teamwork and commitment are at the heart of Iridescence Cares, making all we do possible.
