Captain Jack

Captain Jack

Captain Jack is a sweet, approximately 10-year-old gentleman who has spent his life navigating the streets of York City. Life on the streets hasn’t been easy, and Jack has a few reminders of his past. He’s missing some of his front teeth, is blind in one eye, and has a permanently protruding little tongue that makes him even more endearing.

Despite everything he’s been through, Captain Jack is incredibly loving and gentle. His favorite place to be is curled up in a lap, soaking up all the snuggles and attention he can get. And while he may be a little behind on some of the finer points of indoor-cat life, he’s catching on quickly! Captain Jack recently discovered toys and has officially learned that playing can be pretty great.

Jack is a quiet guy, quite literally, as he doesn’t make much of a sound, but he has plenty to say with his sweet personality. After spending so many years simply surviving, he’s learning what it feels like to be safe, loved, and cared for.

Now, Captain Jack is ready for the next chapter: a peaceful home where he can spend his days lounging in laps, discovering new toys, and getting all the love he deserves.
