Foster or Adopt an Animal in Need

Opening your home to foster or adopt a cat, dog, or other small mammal in need is one of the kindest ways to make a difference. Whether it’s a playful kitten, a senior dog, or a small pet recovering from hardship, your love and care provide the safety they need to heal and thrive.

Every placement changes a life — and often, your heart grows right along with theirs.

We primarily work with cats, dogs, and other small mammals, but we’re always happy to offer guidance or connect you with resources for other animal species.

Why Foster?

Fostering is the bridge between rescue and adoption. It gives animals individualized care that shelters can’t always provide — helping them learn to trust, adjust to home life, and show their true personalities.
Your time, patience, and compassion directly increase our capacity to save more lives.

How It Works

1. Apply to Foster or Adopt
Start by filling out our short application form. This helps us learn about your home, experience, and the types of pets you’re comfortable caring for.

2. Meet Your Match
Once approved, we’ll match you with a cat, dog, or small mammal that fits your home and lifestyle. Our team will walk you through each animal’s needs and personality.

3. Prepare Your Home
We’ll help you get set up with supplies, care instructions, and any medical or behavioral notes. You’ll have ongoing support from our team every step of the way.

4. Welcome Them Home
Whether it’s temporary (as a foster) or forever (as an adopter), you’re giving that animal a safe and loving place to belong.

Adoption Fees
